Maybe Steve Fleck can chime in here - I purchased a NINETEEN ‘Tsunami’ full wetsuit in early 2005 (black with silver chest panel, blue writing), have used it 3 times, and about to race in it at IM WA in early December.
Given the WTC wetsuit rules of 2010, does this suit comply, namely:
WETSUIT POLICY
What is the current wetsuit rule?
Effective September 1, 2010, at all Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events the following changes to our current wetsuit rule will apply:
Wetsuits cannot measure more than 5 millimeters thick. A standard variance will be allowed to account for seams and jersey material (non-buoyant).

Our suits have always conformed to the max 5mm thickness rule. This whole thing was a bit of a bit of a tempest in a tea-pot. The short version is, that almost all other national governing bodies and the ITU have had for a long time, a max 5mm thickness rule for wetsuits. USAT, did not, and the WTC moved to put themselves and their races inline with the way it was everywhere else, and now USAT is doing this as well and phasing that in to, so they are inline with everyone else. I purchased it from one of your retailers in Vancouver (cannot remember who, but AJ Hull referred me to them) in Feb/March 2005. The owner of the store had this very interesting MTB on display that was both rear AND front wheel drive - looked unique and cool!
