Nike Zoom Fly 3 sizing help

I can only rode online locally with Covid where I am at. Looking at Zoom Fly 3 ‘s. any recommendations on sizing , my reference is Saucony Kinvara size US 12

Thanks in advance

Go off whatever your normal EU sizing is, and they’re pretty true to that size. I’m a EU 43, pretty much everything fits when I use that size, regardless of the US/UK sizing allocated to the shoe. Nike and Saucony have fit pretty similar for me

I’ve been a long term Saucony Ride user (ever since the 4), but recently also adopted the Nike Vaporfly 4% and Zoom fly 3. For me, all three shoes are in EU 42. The Vaporfly 4% do run a bit narrower than the other shoes, but I’m still happy with the EU 42.

I was a long time Saucony wearer turned Nike Zoom Fly 3/FlyKnit/Pegasus fan boy. I wear the same US size 10 in both Kinvara and Nikes. Like others have said, the VaporFly 4% and Next% run a bit narrow so I wear a half size larger (10.5 US) in both of those.

Sorry, can’t help you relative to Kinarvas… but I had a bit different experience when ordering Fly 3s.

I am 12 in Nike’s in just about everything - currently run in Peg Turbo 2s, 12s fit like glove.

Bought two pairs of Fly 3s on sale… in 12… and they were huge. Returned. If buy new ones, will probably go down in a size.

I use half size down from normal shoes.

Is this sale still going? I love the ZF3s - I have 2 pairs but would buy more.

Pegasus user here, but not a fast runner. 1.45 for half marathon.
Are these faster shoes any use to me? Turbo 2 ? Zoom Fly 3? or even the all singing all dancing Next %?

Tl/dr: yes, at any pace around 6min/km or faster you’ll be go faster with Zoomfly/ Next%/ whatever the other top level shoes brands come out with ie Saucony Endorphin’s

Yep, anything with a plate (given that it’s placed somewhat correctly in the shoe, which Nike and now other brands appear to be doing for most people) weather it’s nylon or carbon is going to help you increase your efficiency, which will lower the physiological needs at a given pace, which will in turn lead you to go faster for a given HR/lactate level/oxygen need/most other physiological factors you’d care to name. It’s not by too much, maybe 2% or so for most people, but given that you’ve spent all this time and money and effort on training leading up to an event you may as well optimize your race day performance too. If you add in a certain kind of foam composition (ie Nike’s pebax mix, whatever the other brands are currently coming out with) then that will help as well! In fact, Nike have hit the key bit as the paper written on the 4%'s highlight that it was the interaction of the plate & foam which helped the runners tested to be more efficient, a la go faster!
