I have a garmin forerunner 305 that I share with my wife so I wanted a semi-replacement to use in some workouts. The Nike sport band gives you distance, pace, time and calories in a much, much smaller (and cheaper) package than the 305. I’ve only run with it a few times but it doesn’t seem as responsive as the 305 (in terms of updating pace quickly). I’m curious if anyone else has used it and what they think about it.
I have one, and I quite like it. But then I’m not really interested in detailed reports, I only want to know how long I’ve run for, roughly how far and at roughly what pace. The Nike does this just fine and is easy to download. The Garmin is far superior and accurate, and can also be used on the bike (I believe)
The only thing I dont like about the Nike, is the screen, it’s the wrong way round - you have to read the numbers sideways which is just annoying.
