Nike Odyssey 2 replacement shoe

I ran in the Lunar Glide, then the Odyssey, then the Odyssey 2. I could tolerate longer runs with these shoes and I stayed out of injury.

I would like to buy the closest thing, but even Nike employees seem to shrug their shoulders at the store when I ask what the replacement shoe is.

Thoughts?

I’ll be tuning in. The Odyssey was one of my favorite shoes, too. Tried the Infinity but oddly wasn’t as comfortable.

Have you tried the recent Pegasus (37 and above)? They are significantly more padded than the prior iterations and may be worth checking out.

Go on eBay, Goat, StockX, etc. and get a few pairs of the odyssey 2 cheap.

I did this with the epic react. Paid $42 for a brand new pair in a hideous colorway.

Why not try the Invincible for the long/steady-away runs?

I tend to get a strain in my right calf if I’m not careful increasing volume/frequency, and they seem to have helped ward off the strain.

The Nike Invincible is the name of the shoe?

The Odyssey was a price-point version of the Epic React.
The New Epic React is the Infinity, which you can find on sale for the same $100-120 price.

Alternatively, the Miler is ~$130. However, the feel of that shoe is a bit more substantial than the React Infinity which is lighter and more responsive.

The Invincible it also lighter and more responsive than the Miler, but it’s also a maximalist-cushion shoe, so a very different feel.

I run in both Invincible and Infinity and have Milers for casual wear.

Breaking it down! Love it!

I will check these out!
