I recently had one of my Nike Air Max 360s go flat, a puncture most likely, but possibly a tread separation.
I took it back to Road Runner but it was more than 90 days (?) since purchase so no warranty. Ouch!
However Road Runner suggested contacting Nike directly. Did. Got voucher for new shoes on www.nike.com
Nike policy is to warranty shoe for 2 years after contruction date which is inside shoe tongue.
There are several models of 360 - some with leather trim and so on - the one below (Air Max 360 II iD - Men’s) can be spec’d out to what you like - about 10 choices - colors - put you name on them (iD) and so on. Try it - you do not have to buy them to spec one out.
Neal – I’ve got the Air Max 360’s (well past 90 days old), and I suspect that the left one has punctured. Any ideas how I would check for this? How did you figure yours out (unless it was obvious when it filled up with water or something)?
I haven’t cruised the Nike site in a while, but is there a specific contact there?
You can tell if the air has leaked out by pushing on those transparent parts of the heel, on a good shoe it feels like a bike tire with about 60 to 80psi in it - on a bad shoe feels like a flat bike tire.
The terms of the Nike warranty are on the website and they also have a website phone number for a human that you can call.
I tried using my shoe with the flat - since when walking it did not feel much different, except it bottomed out if you hit hard on your heel - but after a couple of days running it made my knee hurt.
Nike was great - within one week mailed me a voucher for nike.com which I used for a new pair of 360’s - though they will take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive since I am trying their spec iD shoe - but I have a spare pair of shoes.
