Newton to Hoka size comparison

I’ve been running in Newtons for the last 8 years but want to give Hoka’s a try. Anyone use both, or made the switch, that can make a recommendation on size comparison? I’m an 11.5 men’s in Newton Distance if that’s helpful.

I’ve been in Hoak’s for quite awhile now (2012) but was in Newton’s for about a year prior. Size 10 for both brands.

go to a running store and try them on?

Used to run in Size 10 Newton Distance / Gravity models. Now run in Size 10 Hoka Claytons. Hope that helps.

Used the same size as well.

Thanks for the replies. I don’t own a car so getting to a store to try on is difficult. I also want to buy a used pair first.

Use those newtons to run to the store!
I go size 12 in each brand, but I will say some models in the hoka line seem to have more toe room than others… (My bondis are a little tighter in toe box width than my Stinsons…)
Hope this helps!

Wore 12 on both Newton Distance and Hoka Cliftons. That’s 1/2 sized up for me in both brands. Love Hokas, never got used to Newtons… Tried them but not for me.

Went with size 10 for both brands too. I am equally slow with both LOL!
