Has anyone done this?
A friend of mine from New Zealand was telling me about it…suggesting that I consider it after I do an IM.
I was telling her that I missed long hiking trips, overnight kayaking etc… since I’ve been training for an IM and that I didn’t see myself doing another IM because I can’t surf, hike etc when I want to (I was able to balance all those and to HIMs, so I think that’s my race distance I’ll stick with after IMF). But then she mentioned the coast to coast and of course I started to think…hmmmm…I could still call mountain climbing/hiking and kayaking part of the workout plan then…
Just wondering if anyone has done it. I’m considering suggesting it to a friend of mine to do as a team, and wanted to get a bit more info/first hand stories.
