I’m often reading these boards but rarely post. I guess that would make me a lurker. I’m an avid triathlete living near Greensboro, NC. I’m also a meteorologist and produce daily air quality forecasts for the Triad of NC working for a local government agency. Anyway, I’d like to branch out with my forecasting services and provide detailed weather forecasts for triathlons and/or any other outdoor event. I’ve built a simple website I’d like for you to check out and comment on. What would you like to see?..within reason of course! All comments are welcome, but take it easy on me!

I saw quite a few rough edges on the site that need to be tuned, but if I had to pick one thing, I’d say the “about me” feature needs a little re-writing. I got that you have a family, and that you’re a triathlete, but not so much the second part (which is most important). I still don’t know why exactly you started the site, what exactly the site provides, or why exactly I should visit it. I’m sure you know these things, and I’m sure you can get visitors to understand them, I just think you’re a couple drafts away from that right now. Does that make sense?
From what I gather though, it could turn into a sweet product, and you already have a leg up because you clearly have a passion for it. Best of luck!
