New Transition

I am not a poster here but I have some questions for anyone that might know. I have ordered the Transition frame to replace my Planet-X. Today I was able to get my hands on a built S-Works Transition and was very disturbed by how flexy it is. While sitting on the bike I could make the stays and the bb flex and this was without peddles on the bike. My question is this, have any of you heard about this or is this just a pre-production Demo issue. The bike is a rep’s demo from about 3 months ago. If this is the case I am going to change my order to the C-dale. My PX and my Road bike (C-dale System Six) are at least twice as stiff and this isn’t an exaggeration. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to ride a noodle.

No the S should not be flexy. What PX are you replacing? Steath Carbon Pro?

Stealth C-Pro. This S-Work was unbelievable, so it must just be a pre-production thing. My LBS owner who TT’s with me was shocked. We could even flex the top tube when we pushed down on it with a hand.

A Specialized “pre-production” frame would never be sold at retail…a Rep demo…sure, but that is a stock bike.

I have an S-works transition. And I can tell you its not a “flexy” bike. I came off a Cannondale Slice Six13 and its much stiffer.
