I was one of the beta Zwift users and have been using it ever since then. Used TR before Zwift came into existence. I won’t be using TR again so that’s not an option. Perfectly fine tool but staring at a line doesn’t do anything for me. I’d like some visual stimuli.
Just want to mix it up and try something different. I have to take a break from running for a few months and want to ride 6x per week. Likely 4x on the trainer and 2x outdoors.
Give SYSTM a try. I like it a lot. It combines structured training with excellent content. My caveat, I have not used Fulgaz, so I cannot offer the direct comparison.
Cant speak for systm, but for me fulgaz was a shocker.
Have to download videos beforehand or it spends its all the time buffering, and then if you want to import workouts that take longer than their routes, it just ends. You cant keep going around routes ala zwift til you are done.
Reading user group posts, a general arrogance regarding development or problems, from the company has resulted in a lot of ex users.
I gave up on the 2 week free trial part way through, and went back to zwift after a brief foray into RGT. Yes zwift is cartoony and not perfect but the benefits far outweigh what else is out there.

I’ve used TR (booooring!), SYSTM and Zwift.
SYSTM is great for structured interval workouts.
They have a wide variety of options, difficulty levels, power focus, etc.
What’s nice is you can do one of their test workouts (Half Monty or Full Frontal) to find out what your current levels are at 4 critical power output levels, and then focus on improving whatever you find is your weakness.
For me, it turned out that MAP (VO2Max = 5 min power) was my weakness, since that is a hard cap on how high your FTP can then be.
So I then did a bunch of workouts to address and focus on that, and improved it pretty dramatically in a short period of time.
My MAP went from 325 in January (this was likely somewhat ‘low’ due to sporadic riding, and not much ‘hard’ efforts for a while prior) up to 360 by mid-March.
FTP then went from 271 to 288.
Zwift is fun for the group/social aspect of it.
I was training for a 150 mile gravel event last March, and doing a weekly Zwift ‘century’ with a large group really helped make the ~4 hour indoor rides tolerable.
I had never done a BTN (Bike To Nowhere) ride longer than 2 hours prior (and that was 15 years ago), and typically they’d be more in the :30-:60 minute range.
I also kinda dug the idea of riding up the virtual Alpe or Ventoux, so you can get a feel for what it would be like IRL.
YMMV.
I also recently got the new Wahoo ELEMNT Roam v2 and the SYSTM integration (doing SYSTM rides outdoors) makes it sound like a no brainer I should give SYSTM a try.

I’ve faffed about with FulGaz a couple of times now. I hate it, but wanted to “pre-ride†a course. I used the PC version. There is no way I’d use it more than once or twice per year to simulate an A-race course.
I had trainer resistance issues using ant+ for trainer control where resistance would be erratic. Bluetooth worked just find though. The software locks up whenever I finish a route or session. Alt-F4 or killing it from the task manager are the only thing that will close it.I despise that I have to select my sensors every ride. Just use the same ones as last time please.Had an issue where it would only detect bluetooth sensors if I toggled bluetooth on the PC. Even then, it took an unreasonably long time to show them.It will only play in full screen on the primary screen of a dual monitor setup, I’m unable to find any way to “window†the app and move it to the other screen.
I’ve never used Zwift, RGT or Wahoo SYSTM, so nothing to compare it to there. My day-to-day trainer setup is using TrainerRoad on an iphone and watching tv/movies/sports on a media-pc.
I have been using FulGaz for about 9 months and have never having a problem with buffering or downloading a ride.
I really enjoy the nice video and fairly real “rideâ€. I find it pretty true to course.
