SRAM just introduced new TT levers for Rival, Force and Red. It still looks like there’s no integrated shifting button. I read in the news that it’s only a graphic update. And that only Red got the carbon levers.
Does anyone have more insight?

FWIW drag2zero and leap components make nice bar end grips with integrated sections for sram levers buttons. Kinda suprised it took this long, the sram buttons have always looked like kind of an afterthought the way they attach. I’m a Shimano guy tho so don’t know a lot about them.
GLAD its just a cosmetic update… not been long I got my bike all finished and race ready.
There’s mixed info. The German press release shows carbon levers across the range, and an update to graphics on the lever body. The calipers are the latest E1 series. New to the aero lever, not new to SRAM.
I don’t mind that the buttons arent integrated. I was able to use double sided sticky tape to position them exactly where I want them.
Anyway, I replaced my shitty monoblock calipers so I’m relieved I didn’t miss an upgrade opportunity.
Got in contact with SRAM and they say that all three E1 tiers use the same material, carbon, on the levers. The difference lays in the calipers.
Adding to that, since all rival, force and red have the same performance for the E1 calipers, I think it can be concluded that also the three E1 Aero TT assemblies have the same performance, you pay extra for the looks.
That is not completely correct. All relevant questions were already answered above. Rival, Force and Red E1 have carbon levers.
You had those before?

And now E1 brakes and you feel a significant difference? In which way if I may ask?
I had the original version of the S900, the monoblock. The braking was excellent but the problem was the pistons would rarely return. This caused the brakes to constantly rub. Thankfully sram moved away from that design.
Do you notice any difference in breaking power? I feel like the TT brakes are a little squishier than the road levers (though maybe I just need to bleed my TT brakes)…
I haven’t tried the newest E1 calipers, but the D2 calipers have a noticeably better feel than the D1 and monoblocks. The pad retraction was also much better.
