Looks like Specialized is having an unveiling tomorrow for something dealing with women triathletes. Do you think it is another women’s frame? Any other guesses?

I don’t know…I just can’t figure out what they would want to showcase that is just for women that needs such a big introduction. Specialized has SOOO many frames already I can’t believe they might have 3 different Time trial/ Triathlon framesets.

Unfortunately that seems to be what will be released, it will be called the Alias and have top tube storage bosses.
The current Shiv is pretty limited for short people, both in size and the smallest size having a really large trail. So maybe the woman’s bike will address this?

I really think it’s going to be some kind of event or online property. If it was a bike frame, why not launch it at Kona where all of triathlon’s media is front and center? I dunno. Just a guess.
I think it might be a Women’s aero road bike, Venge-ish, capable of being converted to a tri bike. (flippable seat post, aeroframe, SWAT gear)
Venge only goes down to 52cm right now and doesn’t cater to smaller body builds.
