I was hoping to get in on this but that price is way out of my range. Best of luck to Josh and his crew to find the market for it.

An incredible product made in Indiana with, of course, a high price. But, even at that price, I think that there will be a considerable market for this pump.
My hope is that some lower cost floor pumps are coming. I could live without many of the ‘gold-plated’ features of this premium pump, well, except for one. I hope Josh keeps the +/- 1 percent accuracy gauge on the lower cost pumps too. That could be very very useful.

Had to check the calendar to see if it was April.
Like the '61 Ferrari GT California in Ferris Bueller… If you have the means…
I imagine this to be the Lord of the Rings pump. One Pump to Rule Them All.
I’m totally stoked that rich white guys will now have accurate tire pressure.
.
All that and it doesn’t even have their disc-compatible pump head on it?
This will give them more performance advantage than their Pinarello

It’s always worth it to invest in a good floor pump. My Lezyne is pretty nice… but if I had the money…
At least you have something substantial and well thought out in your hand. People actually spend that kind of coin on an idiotic tattoo to promote a for profit brand, or buy a big 4WD even though they are never going offroad. So it is all relative.
I would much rather buy a pump that actually works. My Lezyne looks great but it does not work as well as it looks.

You should check out my $40 Joe Blow. Works great. You’re welcome.
I get that this is an awesome piece of kit, but…

The floor pump is one of those things for which I’ve tolerated poor performance for many years, and it has probably cost me far more than $450 in aggravation. Would I spend that much on a pump? Probably not. Do I envision a market of less-complacent consumers that will pay a premium for performance and reliability? Absolutely.

Noting the pink font, but seriously, at that price point where most serious consumers would be in the older age range demographic, how can this be the ‘ultimate’ floor pump when the ‘analog’ pressure gauge - as opposed to digital - with frickin’ small print and hash marks, is still located on the floor some 3-4 feet from the users eyeballs?

Which is why our last floor pump was a branded pump with a 10-year warranty and has been replaced twice due to various plastic bits failing but still has not cost a single cent since the purchase.
The “Ultimate” pump would be wireless connected to your iphone with sensors that you place on the valves. It would alert you that your tires are low on pressure. Then you plug it in and it inflates them using a cast titanium pump with natural fair trade cork and bamboo seals powered wirelessly with a lithium ion battery, with a optional solar panel.
I mean seriously a pump where you have to use you arms to inflate your tires… that’s so last century.
it’s kind of funny, they used to make a wonderful pump that you could rebuild and it was all metal. Then they switched to a crap plastic base so it’s just another flimsy pump. Now they release a new one that is well built again but costs what I pay for food for my family for a month.
I have a $25 MEC (Canadian REI) floor pump. It’s at least 10 years old & still works like a charm.
So…much…joke…potential.
What’s even more ridiculous than the price will be the number Josh actually sells. To Slowtwitchers.
I have the MEC pump. Yup, It shockingly works well at keeping my tires inflated with no issues. And the cost was reasonable.
Had to check the calendar to see if it was April.
pretty sure they posted on here about the release of the $50 CO2 cartridge adapter and customizable o-ring colors on April 1st this year… everyone thought it was a joke then, or at least I did.
I like the pump, but I really think they should have included their lever-opening Chuck for that price. Now you have to go spend another $100 to get their higher-end chuck for the pump. So really you need to spend $500 for a top-line product.
