New Newton Shoe: Energy

Newton Energy

Well now…I was just about to spring for the Hoka’s…may have to wait. Wish it listed the drop.

Found the drop: 6mm with the sockliner (which will compress over time) 3 if you remove it and run without.

I was able to test the Energy out for a few months and I loved it. If you are a Newton running fan,or just looking to try out a new shoe I would give this one a try. I have been running in Newton shoes since 2005 and feel this is a grate new shoe for them.

Looks promising, a cross between mv2 and distance? I would try if I could get my hands on a pair now and not July, at the middle of the season.

Since they are now available has anyone tried them?

yes i have 100 miles in mine.its a different cush ride I think. the heel has more of a cushiony feel. the forefoot is also lower so it feels more “solid” I guess in slower speeds. Its a better way to get the Newton intro than the Issac I think. for sure less calf jumping in to Newtons than before. I can say again, at try for 30 days you can’t go wrong.
