ahhh, the Topeka Tinman, my first triathlon in 1985. I think I probably walked 6 of the 7 miles. Would love to go back and do it again someday.
Were any of you on the KU tri team when Clark coached it?
I was not on the team. I remember the Tinman being so popular you had to send your application in right away (sound familiar!) just to get in!!! I never really did well because such a long run in comparison to the shortish swim…Im a fish. Jayhawks a #1 seed…go Hawks!
