That is a swim cap.
Sweet…never thought of that. All these years I was using duct tape for my spring/fall helmet to keep the wind out when I could use all the countless swim caps from events that don’t have a place to go!
I must admit that was not my idea, I think I’ve seen it used by English TT riders.

One thing to consider does the swim cap change the safety of the helmet in a crash? In terms of the swim cap not sliding but rather grabbing against the surface it becomes contact with
The swim cap would just rip when it hit the pavement. It is pretty stretched out, and one little abrasion would snap it. I would imagine the integrity of the helmet stands.
