I’m obsessed with saddles, so maybe this only interests me.
By now everyone knows Fizik and Specialized worked with the same company to create their 3D printed saddles. Having never ridden them myself, I feel like you just look at them and can see that Specialized had the better design. I’ve heard great things about the Specialized Power Mirror saddle and not great things about the Fizik Antares Adaptive (including from my fitter).
I was pretty happy when Specialized released a cheaper version of theirs recently but it was still so expensive.
Now Fizik has released their new Vento Adaptive saddle and the design looks MUCH improved and looks quite similar to the Power Mirror. From the start they are releasing a carbon version at $299 and a ti rail version at $259, significantly cheaper than Specialized offerings. I’ve had this new Vento Adaptive in hand, alongside a Antares Adaptive and it seems like night and day. Can’t wait to try one!
