New Fezzari Triathlon Bike

I’m a fan of their mountain bikes but this isn’t my cup of tea. Maybe it will be someone else’s.

The front and rear hydration solutions are both abominations.

The rear box is for storage, I guess.

Actually the frame looks great.

Might be fast, but looks horrible. Like they took a specialized and made it a lot worse looking, and with pretty basic cockpit.

Specialized + Felt = ugly.

Specialized + Felt = ugly

Specialized + Felt + Ferrari = ugly
.

Front end actually reminds me more of a Diamondback Serios than anything else. I like the look of the rear end (chain/seat stays), but not much else.

Edit: I also like that companies are still making new tri bikes. Props for that!

Iron cowboy can fit a lot of saline IV bags in that rear storage box

The downward ie. right angle of the top of the rear storage box is uninspiring. Should be at least level to the ground if not slopes up to meet a BTS bottle.

Front is a little more elegant design, but the gaps. Also the +6* stem… ughh.

Can someone give me the data on sponsor activation with a company sponsoring a guy like James or Taren. (I saw Canyon just sent Taren a bunch of bikes and he’s “leaving” Ventum)

Ouch!! but true

I contemplated a Fezzari MTB, but this thing looks hideous. Looks like they are trying to tick off hydration, flat kit, draft box, but doing it pretty poorly and not very well integrated.

The rear triangle looks like a copy/paste job from one of their mountain bikes, the rear storage looks… poorly executed… and the front fork has a detail near the crown which looks decidedly un-aero. Perhaps the finished product will look better.

With all of that said, their mountain bikes are great and a great value too.

Looks like the ransom note of triathlon bikes.

We saw a couple of the older Fezzari’s when the shop was still open. They were not very impressive.

Looks a lot like the Supra-R/SpeederCycling bike with dropped seat stays

Ugh. Taren is such a wanker.

The gap between the frame and the front hydration and the frame and the rear storage sail most likely add a chunk of drag

Isn’t this just some cobbled-together open mold frame with poorly integrated stuff added on to make it look legit? There is no way the front and rear storage were even considered when some chimp with no other tools except a pencil and a straightedge drew this thing up.

I think there are brands that see this as a real marketing path.
Canyon seems into it, Tarren, Vegan Cyclist, a lot of GCN videos (though seems like Orbea might be taking that one now), J Bishop
Factor bikes has Phil, (he used to be on Nove, who I really had never heard of before he rode them)
For brands like Ventum, Nove, fezzari, Diamondback (they sponsor the berm peak guy I believe) I am sure the ROI on a popular youtuber (or Lance) is a lot better than a pro tour team.
