Hey all, I need spacers to bring my aerobars up a little bit on a new felt frame I just got.
The box didn’t come with any spacers; I can’t find spacers online except for the bayonet 3. They look similar, but would a spacer for the bayonet 3 stem work on version 4?

Do you need to raise the base bar or the aerobars?
The Bayonet4 is a fork steering system. I assume you are using the Bayonet3 handlebars? There are various riders/stack for the aerobar extensions and arm rests, is this what you need to raise? These parts are included with the bicycle when new.
I was confused (apparently) then. I just bought the frameset, so it only came with the two different length stems. I didn’t get spacers to raise the bar up.
I thought the bayonet4 was a type of stem, since 1/2/3 have replacement stems and such. Which would explain why I didn’t find any risers for a steering system… which wouldn’t make sense.
I’m using zipp vuka bull base bar and zipp extensions with a bayonet 3 fixed position stem right now. Ideally, the base bar would come up just a little bit (and I figured spacers would go under the fixed stem?). The aero bars need to come up more than base bar, but both need to rise a bit. I just bought a spacer for the aero extensions, but would still like the basebar to come up. And thanks for the response and help, Dave.
I’m using the longer stem that came with the frame–the 90x0. The spacers for the zipp bar though should go under the clips: http://zipp.com/.../detail.php?ID=16711.]
Wouldn’t using the 70mm x 30mm stem give you the base bar rise you are looking for?
Not quite. My knees end up hitting my elbows, and because my upper body gets pulled in a bit farther my hip angle is still closed off. It leads me to think I should have a 58cm instead of a 56, but that’s a fault of my own. My old frame is a 55, but, regardless of whether its the 58 or 56, i can only work with what I have now.
In case I decide to play with the stem in the future, I would need a spline shaft, top crown, and stem right? I apologize for my unfamiliarity here. It’s been ordered since November and I didn’t take the time to look up part adjustments.
