In the race to be as fast as possible and save watts here and watts there, much time and effort has been spent micro-engineering the bicycle to the finest detail. But if Endura’s aerodynamics specialist Simon Smart is to be believed, the development of aerodynamic clothing is lagging five years behind.
The helmet looks good. Might be the best fit for my position to replace my aging Bell Javelin.
If the full-aero to aero-road conversion is as easy as it looks, we might be able to put an end to this “should I buy an aero-road helmet instead of a full-aero in case it’s hot?” threads. The one helmet to rule them all…
I saw that on Bike Radar. As soon as a TT suit is available for order I plan to pick one up. If they make a tri suit I hope at least part of the upper is white or some other light color along the lines of the new Roka suit.
I split my Castelli trying to get into (got fat during off season) so I need a new suit regardless. Might as well spend the extra $100. I’ve got big shoulders/arms so the right texture should do something for me… even though past testing, both in the tunnel and the field, has proved otherwise.

Bolle tried the ‘one helmet to rule them all’ moniker and failed badly lol. This, however, looks like a good helmet with the tail intact in comparison to the atrocious bolle aero road helmet.
I got the endura tri suit late last year… I have an older Smart TT suit as well.
The helmet I do have interest in… my Specialized Sworks TT I’ve had for awhile and is hard to get on.
I found the sworks slips forward on my head and every now and again I have to manually move it back. And yep its something you have to fold over your ears when putting it on. Bought a giro aerohead, its much better. stays still, and just plonk it on your melon, good to go. Just a thought!

yeah you gotta tighten it up after putting it on… so it does not slide. Kills me ears for sure.

This may be a bit off topic, but our team did custom sublimated BP 3.3s. A 185$ a piece with custom team colors. That was a really nice surprise compared to the usual 300ish and the only ones I ever see on sale are the pumpkin colored ones in X and XL.

Yeah, a proper TT lid that can function as an aero-road lid is probably a better approach than “this not-even-aero road lid can be your everything helmet”.

Looks like any colour so long as it’s black https://www.endurasport.com/product/qdc-drag2zero-ss-tri-suit/

Whoa, for $185 I wouldn’t think twice for a Castelli BP. How big was the order?

Dang… last year Castelli told me no custom bp3.3’s. (although I do see it on their website now)
Hope my Trip suit ends up being faster.
