The latest Inside Tri says in several places that the new rule is that side-by-side is OK, but you can’t be behind anyone who is close enough to see. What??? That could be the better part of a mile. And the same issue has a Hawaii photo of pros in two lines, separated by about four bike lengths fore-aft. What’s up with this “close enough to see” or did I just read it wrong? (I already recycled it…oops…so maybe somebody could correct my quote.)
