New Continental GP5000 AS TR is the grippiest and longest-lasting tyre in widening tubeless range - BikeRadar
Do we have any idea when/where we will begin seeing GP5000 TT TR or GP5000 AS TR available for sale? Would love to get in early on some 28mm TT’s.
I thought I saw expected 7/4/23 on some websites

So the current gp5000 TT TdF edition is the same exact tire, they are just releasing a 28mm version and changing the name?
Biggest question is whether they’re still going to be a total and utter biatch to get on and off a tubeless rim, especially when roadside and the sealant hasn’t sealed so a tube has to be fitted.
That stopped me using GP5000 tubeless previously on my road bike. The Pirelli PZero tubeless I’m using in comparison were fine (on DT rims).

The AS TR are already in stock in some shops. I can’t find the TT’s yet though.

There are some cosmetic changes but as far as I can tell, they are mechanically the same with expanded size range.

Has anyone seen any websites advertising the tt version ? Despite the press release saying they are already available, even continentals own website doesn’t show them.

I thought I read that the 28mm TT had an extra layer of flat protection over the 25mm TDF? Maybe I’m wrong though.

The S-TR was similarly priced last year and finally seems to be coming back to Earth now.

I wonder how GP5000 TT performs against Corsa Speed, is Vittoria still faster?

The AS is already in stock and available to buy in the UK. No sign of the TT though.
