New Brake Calipers for 2004 Dual?

Have finally rusted out the spring in the rear brake calipers on my 2004 Cervelo Dual to where they are permanently closed. Not good.

Plan to keep the bike another season or two, so need to quickly find new replacement, but don’t want to spend a ton, and not too concerned about weight or bling factor. Have searched the forum, but don’t have clear direction yet.

Question: Are there any replacements that can be suggested for under $100?

Question 2: Are new calipers easy to put on myself considering that I am not mechanically inclined?

Old ones were standard Cervelo in black.

Thx

There is nothing unique about the brakes on a dual ( other than instant rust!) I actually just swapped the brakes off my P3 for the same reason. For a five year old bike just look in the classifieds forum and you should be able to pick up something cheap. It seems like all the dual pivot brakes work pretty well but the more expensive ones don’t corrode as readily.

Probikekit has Ultegra calipers for $120 with free shipping. Plus, use the code USARBR and get another 5% off, which will bring it closer to your $100 budget.

Just saw these on special at Competitive Cyclist:
