Looks nice, anyone see it??
Good find…bump for anyone who knows more about it.
I don’t know anything about it but I like that added computer mount, aero people probably won’t though. Currently searching for a place to put my computer when my profile bottle is on the bike.
a $50 dollar water bottle.
I didn’t like that part either. You can just put your computer on ur stem for free. Maybe $25 but not $45.
For those of us who have payed the $20 over and over trying to get a nice front bottle solution, I suspect no price is too high for something that will actually work. I put in an order at my LBS who is a Trek dealer. Not sure about availability yet, but the manager said it looked like something he could get quickly. I will let everyone know.

Yeah, but the question is: will it splash water like the profile aero drink. If so, I don’t think that’s somewhere I would want my computer mounted. So it’s a steep price to pay, to find out if it actually works well.
On the other hand, the regular bontrager aero water bottle costs ~$60 I think.
I would like to see it actually installed on a bike. Not grooving on the computer mount since I mount all of mine on the stem but would this not be a fairing! sorry could not resist.

In my experience, the engineers at Trek are a whole lot better than at Profile. I have a lot of Profile products, and some of them are quite nice, but plenty of them are less than great.

how much does it hold?
I don’t like the fabric cover on it.
It looks like the fabric has dimples in it, boy is that trick. Also, it looks like the computer mount is in a better position then a stem mount. Has anyone ever tried to look down at the computer when it is mounted on the stem?, it is not the best position for easy reference when you are in the aero position. This mount looks like it is in a whole lot better position then any stem mount is.
the new profile bottles now come with a lid pretty much the same as the one on the bottle in this post. i bought one just yesterday at my lbs for $21 (canadian dollars).
how much does it hold?
Looks like is holds 591 ml (20 oz) which is about half the size of the aero drink. It looks pretty big for holding such little liquid.
I don’t find that on their (profile’s) website. What’s it called?
same thing - profile aerodrink. i had no idea they changed it either. i was at the shop yesterday to buy rim strips and saw it while i was looking around. there is now a small lip at the top of the bottle and it has a lid that snaps on. the lid has a piece of rubber in the middle of it with some cuts in it so you can stick a waterbottle through and refill the aerobottle on the fly.
if you look at their website take a look at the aquacell (their 2 chamber bottle). that’s the lid that’s on the aerodrink now.
Looks good…

If you are having a hard time seeing a stem-mount then your frame is probably too short for you. FWIW their straw assembly looks pretty dumb and would end up being squashed up against the front of the stem. And how in the world are you supposed to easily take it out to refill it at the local water fountain? Not to mention the bouncing with velcro holding it on. $50? Thanks I’ll stick to my reliable, splash-free NXT bottle.
Thanks

Very nice. It looks like it may be possible to reverse and flip that computer mount (provided it is mounted to a ring under the lid as it appears) to tuck it in more behind the bottle. Otherwise just take it off if you don’t like it. Very fast refill, lots of mounting options. Looks promising. Well done Bontrager.
