I’m right on the South Coast, so we don’t have sauce or onion gravy for sale in Chip Shops as far as I am aware, although I think mushy peas are available.
Are misspelling or misspelled real words? I’m not too sure and think it should be incorrectly spelt, although I could be wrong.
That’s weird, as I thought all chipshops had this.
Curry sauce from a Chinese takeaway would suffice, as well.
“misspell” could be an American word, but I got it correct in a spelling bee a very, very long time ago.
