I obviously don’t know how to read a calendar.
As a GI JOe guy, I completely missed out on TRansformers in my late elementary/junior high years.
I’m gonna catch the flic this time around. My son has the cartoon movie (awesome 80s/metal soundtrack, BTW). I admit the movie looks pretty darn cool.
Don’t the special effects and explosions alone make it a thumbs up? I mean it’s a Transformers movie, is anyone expecting more than special effects and explosions?
Doesn’t open till July 4th, so unless someone saw a preview…

One time a buddy and I were sitting around drinking two or twelve Hornsby’s ciders … and he starts talking about the GI Joe guys/figures that (if you look back on it now) were probably gay (It was a hilarious conversation at the time … right up there with the what’s best? Lucky Charms or Count Chocula … that actually ended up in a fist-fight)). I remember Roadblock and Bazooka specifically. I mean really, what purpose does a mesh-camo muscle shirt have in the army. =)
