Need Help with cycling computer Polar CS100, (reading HR)

When I turn on the computer, that it’s reading the HR on the display, it defaults to the avg speed, instead of the HR. I have no idea on how to make it read the HR.

Anyone knows what could be the problem?

I had the same problem and discovered that not all Polar heartrate straps are compatible with the CS100. You have to use either the WearLink or the T61-coded strap. The T31 won’t work. Good luck.
