Need help with bike size! Please help

Hello. I am having problems with trying to get fit for a Cervelo as I live in Guam and no LBS can properly fit here. I have emailed numerous online shops regarding what size I need and receive no responses. Can anyone help me with an estimate of which size I would need? Hell, I 'll even pay for an online fitting! I had a 51cm 2001 Cervelo P2K with 650c wheels. I really liked it but felt it was a little short in the top tube as I had a 120mm stem and still felt like I was a little too far over the front tire. The seat post was almost all the way out as well. The following are my measurements if anyone can help.

Inseam: 30.5in or 76.25cm

Torso: 28in or 70cm

Forearm: 14.5in or 36.25cm

Height: 68in or 172.7cm

weight; 200lbs

I like to ride steep so that may be my problem with the top tube. I also have a 52cm felt S32 stock set up. I think it fits better but just like the compact sleek fell on the P2K. So, I am really looking for a cervelo and just need what size frame would best suit me. Can anyone help me???

bike size center to center = 0.65 or 0.66 * inseam.

For you: 49,6 cm or 50.3 cm center to center and 51,6 or 52,3 center to top on a traditional built bike with a horizontal upper tube.

So I think a 51 or a 52 is not a bad fit at all.

I’m 191 cm long and have a size 62 cm center to top bike with a 130 mm stem. Normally, a stem of 120 mm is not extremely long. However, on a smaller bike, like yours it might be a little large. However, if you like to ride steep, it has to be longer than if you prefer a more backward seat position.

My seatpost is also almost all the way out. That should not be a problem.

Did you think of this: If you buy a larger frame, your headset tube will be higher, which results in a higher position of your handlebars too.

I was afraid that 51cm would be the right size. I just sold the Cervelo and believe that Cervelo only puts out a 52cm in a 2004 P2K and an earlier P3 frame. I was looking at the Kestrel Talon 52cm but figured I may not like it as the most you can get out of the seat angle is 76*. I figured I would be alright with getting a 52cm cervelo as the head tubes are the shortest on the market of most tri bikes.

bump… need help:(

I think one cm doesn’t make much of a difference. So a 51 is just as good as a 52. I estimate that your stem can be 10 mm shorter on a 52. So that would be a 110 mm stem instead of a 120 mm stem. Lots of bike brands even don’t go under 53 cm frame sizes. So then you would only need a 100 mm stem.

I’m interested in what other slowtwitchers will say about this.
