At least the last one I got 3 years ago did.
I bought a new road helmet this year with a focus on stopping bees and went with the Lazer Genesis. The anti-insect netting is a separate accessory for about $25. Other options: Rudy Project Sterling. Uvex Boss. Spiuk Nexion and Zirion, but Spiuk can be hard to get in the US right now. Krask is a newer helmet brand that also has 1-2 models that have anti-insect netting pads as separate accessories. One of the other Italian helmet brands like Lamar may have it as well.
It is a shame that the big brands like Giro, Bell LG or whatever only seem to have insect netting in their kids models.
Good luck and start carrying an epi-pen, too.

Mine does too from 1.5 years ago. Nice helmet, but haven’t used the bug net much. I’ve been stung on my head and face before, I’m not sure the stinger wouldn’t just go through the mesh.

Alpina Vector Road Helmet for $69 CAD.
I used my normal training “road” helmet and just cut some fiberglass window screen to line the inside. You can affix it with hot glue. Probably $1 investment if you have a hardware store where you can buy window screen by the foot.
Couldn’t you just get stung right through the screen?
The screen is placed under the helment padding and I force outward protrusions in the airflow voids…then use a dot of hot glue to hold it like that. The bug would have to be large/fast enough to overcome the domed screen and then be able to “collect itself” enough to sting me. Needless to say, it hasn’t happen yet and I’ve felt many direct hits. I have a near-shaved head to boot.
Currently searching for a piece of wood to knock on…
LAS= so comfortable.
How about having a pair of spiders spin some webs around your helmet? They’ll also clean off the dead insects as well.

Good idea. But can you get M-dot branded spiders? Or would they need a tattoo?
I keep some toads sitting in my helmet. When a bug flies in through the vent, the joke is on him.
Just don’t use the toads that produce hallucinatory mucus. It really messes you up on long rides.
Rudy! The best fit and incredible service.
I always wanted to add screening to a helmet but never got around to it. Hats off to you for being the first I’ve heard of to actually make it happen.
I too have a problem with bees getting in my helmet, one incident resulted in me going down a hill @ 35mph with sunglasses in one hand and helmet in the other…smart no…effective at removing a hornet from you helmet, yes.
Anyway, Rudy Project Sterling for over a year, and I am bee free. Love the helmet.

spend $8-10 and buy a cap from any LBS, it’ll probably work better than a ‘net’ too
