I need to bring my bike to work with me to squeeze in rides @ lunchtiume.
I also realized this summer, that my Guru tri bike won’t fit onto my my
Yakima Hitch Rack.
I drive a Ford Explorer, and am looking for any good suggestions.

Hang on, you drive a vehicle the size of a small third world village and you can’t fit your bike inside it?
Ditto. I have a P3 and I don’t even take the wheels off. Granted it is a 48 cm frame, but I only need to put one of the back seta down to fit the bike in (virtually standing up). And yes, IronClm can bench press me easily. Just ask Paulo.
I drive an Expidition and still use a hitch rack for long hauls. I use the sport rack. Love it… Very secure. No wheels to take off. Easy to install and lock bikes.
I’d love to just slide it in the back, but I have it loaded up with a bunch of stuff for work.
Now let’s be clear about what’s important here - work? or bikes?
Ditch the work stuff at the side of the road and take the bike! Bet you don’t really need that much stuff every day.
I see how you came by your handle… ![]()
Work is a 4 letter word. It’s amazing that I manage to train but that seems to be more fun (sometimes at least) ![]()
