The absolute enormity of Jupiter is captured in these photos. It’s hard to describe in numbers as it quickly becomes orders of magnitude, but the effect is clear:
Jupiter is the “guardian” of the inner planets. It’s massive gravitational pull stalls comets and asteroids from otherwise intersecting paths with Earth. Good for us now, but over the billions of years of development it’s crucial. Imagine an earth-like planet that had Chixulub-like events even just 2x as often. The probability for intelligent life falls to near zero. (assuming we’re at the middle of the bell curve, a discussion I’d love to have (wink))

If the earth is flat (as many, many americans believe), would not all other planets also be flat? Isn’t nasa part of the deep state anyway?
