My little man Rudy is staying with a friend of mine until I get my own place and his dog accidentally got a tooth or claw in my boy’s eye. My friend took him to the vet and the doc said it’s possible he will loose the eye. Bummer. He is being a trooper though and doesn’t complain when we give him the eye drops. This sucks.
That is sad. Sorry to hear that.
Awful luck for your boy. I hope Rudy gets through it with no permanent damage. Being a dog daddy ain’t all face lickin’ and tail waggin’ - good on ya for taking care of your boy.
That sucks. Lets hope he doesnt lose the eye.
I feel the worse for my friend. He is acting like it is his fault. The good news is that Rudy is healthy except the eye so hopefully he will be with me for a while. By the way this is the same dog that tore up all my gear. We went from bitter enemies to best buddies.
Dude, so sorry to hear that. My first dog had an eye injury and nearly lost it. Fortunately, they saved the eye with some pretty serious surgery.
Good luck to your little pup!
I feel for your buddy. It would kill me if someone’s dog got injured while I was caring for him. Just keep updating him on the pup’s condition and that he is doing well. Make sure you take to pup to see him. It will make him know you do not blame him.
Dogs are tough little monsters. Even if he loses that eye he’ll be running around like he doesn’t even miss it. Crossed paws it turns out OK!
Man Tibsey, sorry to hear that.
All of here in Bugtussle are rooting for him…
Sorry man. They are tough tough animals and can adapt to most anything. I’ve got a 3 legged terrier mix to prove it.
He is taking it like a champ. The swelling is going down a bit but the entire eyeball looks like it is filled with blood. He is running around being his usual French self so even if he loses it he will be the same old lovable idiot.
Dogs adapt well and I’m sure he’ll be fine with our without the eye. I’ve dogsat a dog who had to have both eyes removed and she got around just fine, even getting up and down on the couch.
