My own team jersey--how to do it

gang,

i need to get a few jerseys printed up for my company team. since in reality it’s just me, and possibly another person or two that I could recruit for events, i don’t need them in bulk. it seems that alot of the designers have a minimum of 20 jerseys or something.

so, i’m trying to figure out how to do this…i need to get my logo and company name on a jersey, but still have the jersey do it’s job in wicking and all of this. i believe there is a sports shop up the street from me who can put on a logo, but it’s that plasticy type of stuff, and don’t think they could do anything else really.

do you have any advice? or know of any designers that will do a limited amount of jerseys at an affordable price? say, 5 or 6 of them?

thanks in advance,

kitty

try www.voler.com and www.velowear.com, for about $650 you can get 10 semi-custom jerseys, or Louis Garneau can get you 12, I ordered these and they turned out pretty good.

hands down: www.titanwear.com.

email jason@titanwear.com and tell him what you need.

He has some great singlets along with t-shirt style tops and caps and can place the logo at a very reasonable price. I jut got a couple of the t-shirts style tops and a cap with my multisport logo and they look great.

thanks guys. now only if i had 10 people to wear them!! lol. i’ll check out both resources…much appreciated.

I used Hincapie sports when I was starting up a collegiate club… but then they were also just starting up. Rich told me there was no minimum, but that may have changed.

This place seems pretty affordable: www.sonikperformance.com $25 for logos on 4 places. At one point I think they said they were only printing on TYR stuff, not sure if that’s still the case. Good luck.

There is no minimum now for the semi-custom jerseys through voler and turn around time is 2-weeks. They also have both cycling and tri jerseys. Just upload your graphics to their site and they take care of the rest.

If you need extra numbers to get up to a min order - would you be opposed to a few non-employees from around the country wearing the jersey?

I for one would buy one to help bump the number up. I am sure I am not the only ST’er that would

You may also consider just buying your favorite clothing blank and bringing them to a local silk screener. I know a few sponsored local folks who do that and the cost is pretty reasonable.

yeah I certainly would be up for that. in fact i would love it and consider it an honor.

Check out www.customsublimation.com. Good work and only a 6 piece minimum…and the jerseys will be able to breathe!

The important question is, what colors are they going to be?
And what kind of advertising?
Logos? Or Block Lettering?

Make sure they look fast.

well, you saw my website…so those colors. if there is interest i could put together a jersey for men and one for women, so one is more masculine in colors and the other more femine in color.

my logo, company name, and i might be able to put a few of my client’s logos and company names on too. so it would be pretty cool and fast looking (of course!!). i can dig into this a little more on Monday and see if people would really be interested or not…I know some of this depends on the design.

I’m in - what is your website so I can check it out - just out of interest

And as much as a more masculine version may be appealing to some - most jerseys are unisex and having two versions will mean you need two minimum qtys.

I bought DeSoto gear and had it printed locally.

They’d sure match your new Felt ;-).

i’m working on getting the 2005 schedule up now…ran a little behind on that this season.

I’d be interested.

cool!

When I raced inline skates, my sponsors would get my one-offs from Young Originals. I enjoyed working with them and the stuff always fit great…
