WooHoo!! I’ve had it for just over two weeks now. It rides like a dream and is, as I like to say, ruthlessly fast! The coolest thing is the fit. This bike is so comfortable for me, and running off the bike is easier than ever before! The ride quality and power efficiency are greater than on any other bike I’ve ridden.
I’d like to thank Bill, Val, and all the guys at MissionBay Multisport in Chicago for putting up with my constant phone calls and for getting me such a great deal on this speed machine! And for getting me one of the first 54s! Also, thanks to Gary at Rotor USA for helping me out with the rotor cranks (which I love). I’m racing it for the first time this weekend, watch out!!
Great looking bike. Indeed, it LOOKS seriously fast.
I saw one in the flesh this past weekend at the Peterborough 1/2 IM. It finished way down in the field. Race winners were riding: An old Cervelo P3 for the men and a Specialized S-works Transition for the women.
Yeah, I really like the vitruvians. But I wore them out, the sides are now all torn up. I just got a new pair of Asics, I’m trying to decide if I’m going to get a new pair of vits as well, and rotate them, as I had been. But they are very nice shoes, if a little heavy.

Indeed, but I certainly didn’t buy this machine because I thought it would win me races. I got it because it’s art, damn fine art. But, actually, this bike WILL make me faster, because the fit is so wonderful, so much better than on my old ride.
Damn nice bike! But do you think you could put more gadgets on the aerobars - I don’t think you have an altimeter or a GPS (grin)? Finally, while the seat height is probably just about right, I think the television is too small, nor is it high enough to provide adequate viewing (another grin)!
You know, if you didn’t blow your families life savings on that bike, you could be watching “The Simpsons” on your 60" Sony LCD flat panel teevee right now. And had a few grand left over for that “AWESOME SOUND SYSTEM!”.
