Just wanted to give a shout out for a race in Maine next week that involves multiple trail running and biking legs. It’s called Land of Light 100k, and has 6 different short trail runs in different trail networks (most <5k and one 8k) and the kicker is you can take any route via bike between them. So you could go road bike, TT, or even look for a the gravel roads that may be the shortest possible distance between the 6 trail networks. Kinda like middle distance AmZof but point to point. Check it out>

That looks awesome
This is pretty awesome; thanks for the link!
proud Mainer here, won’t be doing the race but Maine is the best of the states
10 spots left, support your local RD trying to do something different!
Maine! can’t race but thanks for organizing a cool thing, let us know how it goes
it was a great event, definitely early Amzof vibes. the event had a capacity of 40 people because there are no real parking options at some of the run sites. So i think there were about ten 2-person teams and just under 20 individuals. it ended up being roughly a 70.3 level effort and the real interesting thing was seeing the different bike choices and route choices etc…i ended up taking first, but the 2nd place solo guy was hot on my heels. turns out he was running significantly faster on every leg, but he took a gravel bike vs my TT bike (which i rode on the few gravel road options.) I also used pyro platform duathlon pedals which probably saved at least 5 minutes in the end, good enough for the win. so i think equipment choices allowed me to beat a guy who on paper (or strava) is a definitely faster runner.
congrats on your first OV!!!
