With my relocation to Tampa FL, need a recommendation on a good bike shop who is familiar with tri bikes!
The one I see that promotes and supports local races is Kona Swim Bike Run.
Both of these coordinate lots of sbr activities.
How’s the OWS in Tampa? We might be moving there in the fall. I’d like to get heavily involved so I can quit my current job and coach OWS/Tri swimming.
I lived there for about 12 years and moved away about 1.5 years ago. OWS there is good. clearwater beach and fort desoto are good. fort desoto is a little bit of a drive but it’s nice if you want want a nice swim/bike/run as it has a 10 mile loop of road that’s just park traffic and there’s a nice run path. clearwater is closer but is very good. plenty of people swim there.

He puts on a lot of OWS in the area.
Bike - Outspokin in Clearwater. OWS - Pass-a-Grille is ideal, though they are both on the other side of the bridge from Tampa proper. Maybe look up the St. Pete MadDogs triathlon club, you could get some good info from them, I bet. I know they used to have a Wednesday evening group swim at PAG.
Outspokin. They have the largest inventory of triathlon equipment & bikes. Also have a tri-team as well. Weekly OWS swims are coordinated each Tuesday @ 6pm down on Clearwater beach. No posers, good people.
