Moving from Transition to Shiv

…anyone else made this move? I am concerned with getting the seat tube angle on the Shiv to match the Transition. I am currently at a 78.5/79 degree seat tube angle. Any insight from those who are on the Shiv would be apprecitated.

Thanks, Phil

With the forward seatpost (coming standard on all Shivs) you’ll be fine to get to this effective ST angle. Depending upon size, the STA out of the box is 76 deg. With the setback seatpost (20mm setback), this puts the center of the rails around 74 deg. With the forward setting seatpost, the rail center is around 77.5 deg. Thus you can get over 80 degs with almost all saddle heights (even very high) with the forward post.

Perfect. Thank you.
