It’s out, but it’s not mainstream, so I had to go see it at an independent movie theatre here in Orlando. It give it thumbs up (for whatever it’s worth).
This is the story of Edith Piaf, who sang French ballads from the 30’s to the 60’s. She became a colossal icon in France, and her fame really has not yet waned. Her life story was pretty remarkable, as it was punctuated by many heartbreaks which the movie portrayed vividly. When it breaks, it breaks in a million pieces, and it came off very poignant in the movie.
She was also an artist through and through.
Sorry my review is not very good. I suck at this stuff.
