This is not about how professional triathletes train.
This film explores how age-group athletes, intrigued by the long-course distance, can be inspired to succeed against the odds. It takes you through the story of 3 first timers as they strive to achieve their goal – first at half-IM Timberman 2005 and then at the IM-Lake Placid 2005.
yes, we market it locally wherever we show it, and the DVD is also for sale for 20 $. It is also part of our training camps in Spain next year, for camp details see www.eurocycler.com. Everybody can sign-up for these camps. Currenltly we are in the process of a 2nd release with some footage from Kona 05 and specific training info. However, it will never make the blockbuster hit-list, unless a Hollywood studio buys us - but that defeats the purpose.
I live in Philadlephia and the show can be set-up in 15 minutes as long as we have a space for about 200. Anywhere in the States is fine. Just happen to have made some good contacts with the tri-community in Chicago. Atlanta or any other place can be next, however, not before January 8, 2006.
