Just wait, you’ll see miracle after miracle for years going forward ! My twins were only 2lbs and change when they arrived ten weeks early, and today, five short years later they ran in a “Fun Run”, before my 5K that benefited a twins related disease !!

What always floored me was how early in the pregnancy kids are fully developed - hearts lungs, etc. They are a full person who would easily fit in the palm of your hand. Amazing stuff.
Congrats! Yah, those ultrasounds are pretty awesome. I’ll never forget seeing that little lima bean at 6 wks, then the two skulls (twins!) at 20 weeks. One of them was hiding in the earlier pic. Sneaky little devils.
They still, six years later, continually amaze me at their development.

Seems like just yesterday for me. Sonograms are amazing, its just a shame they stop doing them when your baby actually starts looking like a baby and not a visitor from outer space.
Give your partners lots of foot rubs, shower them with attention, and take a few trips in the next several months because when the kid arrives you’re going to find it very tough for a while to do anything but look after the new boss in town.

IMFL was a nice little get away a few weeks back
We have a trip to So Cal planned later in December and a trip to Alberta Canada in Feb (should be nice and warm!!)
We are pumped!!!
Not sure what our other little guys is going to think though come May…
We often wonder the same thing: How are our first children (1 basset and 2 dachshunds (our lowriders, here in New Mexico)) going to take a sudden demotion in attention? We will find out in February, when my excuse for lack of training, and my wife’s reason for lack of training is born!
Congratulations, though, after you and your wife spent that time trying so hard, I imagine the thrill is even greater for.
