My bud and I were just emailing and wondering if we could design a potato gun on the head tube of a bike. Use the shift levers as a firing mechanism, perhaps a back pack as a magazine for large Idaho spuds? Breach loading on the fly might be dangerous…gotta figure out a way to advance live spuds with a mag.
I was even thinking about a totally custom ‘Aero Spud’ where the inside of the top tube is the mag, but we think an after market version would be the most appealing.

Ideallly I would like to see a fully working prototype with both front and rear launching capabilities. Would be great to fire a peeled tater off the back of the bike to knock off an offending drafter from your own slilpstream.
