They are great! Awsome update from Mizuno. You will dig them. I have run the in wave rider, 7,8,9,10,11, and now 12 and this one is by far the best. Heel is much tighter than the 11 and the cushioning feels better. I ran 9 miles in them the first time and they where great. I would say they are similar to the 11’s but much better heel support and more breathable upper and smoother overall ride. Plus the RED is sweet looking.

Thanks for the review, I am a fan of the wave rider so its good to hear. Do you use orthotics ? and if so do the fit well in the Wave rider 12?
yes I do use orthos and yes they did fit right in. These 12’s seem alot different according to muznio they are male specific and female specific now I would believe it seems more comfortable. I still cant get over the heel.

leaning towards returning them and trying to track down a pair of the 11s.
the heel’s really different, and even just sitting there i’m conscious of it hitting me a bit oddly. i’d like to run in them for a few miles to see how they feel, but htne of course i couldn’t return them…
i seem to be in the minority on this, though.
got to holabirdsports.com they still have the 11’s the 12’s seem to feel better once you run in them You wearing socks right? I would try them and then call muzunio direct if you are not happy

Having run in them for two weeks now (maybe 80k?) I can concur with the above statements in bold. They are starting to firm up ever so slightly, but still a very smooth & cushioned ride. My experience was with Creation 7, 8 & 9, then the Rider 11 prior to these…the 12 feels by far the best of those listed*

i’m not in complaint mode. this is what happens when you go to the running shop heavily medicated. but man! tough decision.
the 10s are my favorite shoes ever.
you might want to drop mizuno a call I have before and they will tell you if there is anything that can be done
