greg remaly does a 52.02 for 40k (28.3 mph) to win the memphis in may triathlon. deboom and classen were second and third. bjorn did a 52.33 on this course just last year. much more wind this year. this kid can ride.
As always - great race. Heat was a little tough for us Northerners
Only complaint was putting the bottle exchange right on the tailwind section with speeds into the high 30’s low 40’s - they should have moved up to the turn.

Incredible. 28.3 mph av.
he had the third fastest run 35:14…compare to deboom 1st at 33:31, o’donnell 2nd at 34:25 and classen 4th at 35:49.
i didn’t race for the first time since 1985. good thing really. i rode a mtn bike in front of the lead male runner. my legs were tired from that.
