Michellie Best Ever

If she hangs on to win this, does she deserve the title of best overall (any gender) of all time? If not, best overall woman?

Two IM’s, and looking like two victories…
First time at Kona, looking like the first since LVL and the first woman to pull of a rookie win
Olympic Silver
Numerous ITU WC…
Alcatraz titles up the wazoo
More outright wins than most people have done races.

If she wins today, is she better than Mark Allen and/or Simon Lessing, who would currently seem to hold the rank of “Greatest of All Time.”

Did you see PNF running along with her as she got off the bike. Outside assistance?? Are coaches allowed in transition?

HH

Not to take anything away from her as she is great.

I think for greatest titles your career needs to have longevity.

PNF, Badmann year in and year out champions. Hopefully, we will see her for years to come.

Oh nevermind. PNF was surely doing an inteview.

She’s late to the IM game, though. I mean, she moved up to IM and immediately dominated… She has longevity in all other aspects of her career. I am talking best OVERALL. Not best overall IM racer.

Rappster, best all time over all distances without a doubt is Erin Baker. If Michelle can do two Kona wins, she moves past Erin. PNF and Natasha have no short course success compared to either Erin and Michelle.

I am sticking with longevity as a big factor. She is not quiting anytime soon right? She is a definate contender.

There is still alot left in the race. But if she wins she will be undefeated in Ironman racing. A lot can be said for a 20 year base.

I think Michelle is going to win if she keeps up the pace on the run…her 1st win in her 1st try would be sweet !!!

Dude

She has been winning races for almost 20 years. She has won everything in the short course world (except olympics). Nobody has been as dominant in short course racing. She IS the greatest female short course triathlete ever. A win here, and a couple of more IMs (maybe another Hawaii win) and you can put her right up there with PNF.

Mike

If she hangs on to win this
She won’t, Natascha will
