any experience with the merlin xl compact? does the merlin lifetime frame warantee transfer when the bike is sold second-hand? if i ride a 57 cm. litespeed ultimate, can i fit a ‘virtual’ 55.5 cm. m/l compact frame? i am 6’ 0" with a 34"-ish inseam. thanks.

But here is my take. I would think the compact merlin would seem short on the top tube. If it is a 55 and the Litespeed 57 probably has a 56.5 or 57 TT. If you run a 10cm stem an 11 or 12 on the Litespeed it would would cover the cm or so you lose by going up one stem length. If you are on a 13 cm on the Litespeed you would risk way too much weight up front on the Merlin with a 14 stem.
I have two semi compact frames 54.5c-c seat and 57.5 TT. They aren’t as radical of slope as some, but both seem quicker than my 57-57 frames. My 2 cents worth G
