Me and my ex girl friend's adorable daughter (pic)

Over Thanksgiving I went to Philadelphia to see some friends and my old host family. I also spent quite a bit of time with my ex girlfriend who happened to be the girl I dated for the longest time in my dating “career”. She meanwhile has had a child with another guy and I can clearly see what I have missed out on. Here is a pic of me with her adorable little girl. (The mom took the pic)

Cheers,

Herbert

I love that hair! Cool!

You’re in so much trouble now. Grogan can do quite a number on this pic.

Nice kid. She has an adult-like quality to her.

she is amazingly adorable!!

I have kept in close touch with an ex girlfriend’s daughter for many years. She was like a third kid to me, almost like the two of my own from my first marriage. But now she’s college age and doesn’t have much time for old folks since her social calendar is too busy. Still, I really adored her when she was younger.

love that 'fro - especially the contrast with yours : )
.

Cute kid. She appears to have an inquisitive nature to her.

BTW- Where in the world do you get those T-shirts? I love the sayings that they have on them.

that’s a 50 cent quote.

Yeah! The hair.

Your post leaves an awful lot unsaid. Talk about bittersweet.

As STers once debated; “Kids; Why Bother?”

I want your shirt.

Does your ex-girlfriend’s husband go by the name “Crabman?”

Seriously cute kid!

Cute kid…is that the same ex who was on the dating story show?

It is indeed, and she is still single. But she has a job contract in Philly and I have a passionate job here in TN.
:frowning:
But to this day we are great friends, and the adorable daughter really likes me too.

Too bad…interesting to get an update of sorts. You always wonder how things work out after shows like that one.

“Sailor… don’t turn your back on love…” in David Lynch’s Wild at Heart

Herbert - you have a Job in TN…if I was you I would run to her…run like the winds of the gods are in your sails. You have but one life…dont regret not doing what you know is in your heart.

If that shirt has any connection to how he feels, I would be inclined to agree.

Oh, and any dude can make a woman a baby…takes someone special to be a “dad”.

Precious - both of you!

Whether you stay in TN or move any other place on this planet, you can stay a part of her life. There may be only one father, but there is always plenty of room for a favorite uncle and sometimes the best ones don’t have to be blood relatives.

Thanks for sharing Herbert. Happy Holidays!
