Just a quick note about a couple of great little races in the Parry Sound area.
http://www.pstrysport.com/index-2.htm These are small races but everything is first class- the RD is a 2006 Kona finisher and runs a great race. It’s the second year for this venue which is a small village with a small, clean lake and the bike is on a paved shoulder. The run is nasty. The July race has an OLY and sprint, and the Aug race is a sprint and long course.
It’s a small series that doesn’t get a lot of publicity compared to the big race series in this province, but these are well worth checking out. Plus they award the coolest hand-made race trophies out there:
