Anyone know the Max tire clearance for a Caad10 with Ultegra Brake set? Measuring it looks like 28mm will fit, but first hand experience is a welcome input before I make a purchase.
A 28c tire will be a tight fit … and likely more limted by your brakes than clearance on the frame. Part will also depend on the wheels/rims you have on your bike.
I’d say a nice set of 25c tires and wide rims would be your best bet … I’m guessing you are looking for more comfort or gravel road riding?
It’s different from one caad10 to another. I actually had 700x32 cx tires on mine, but a friend of mine couldn’t fit 28s on his.
I suppose it might depend on size of frame.
I’m hoping to get some big boys on there for gravel, if I could fit CX tires I would be so excited.

Are the tightest clearances around the brakes, or the chain stays?
The brakes were not an issue at all, except that I had to deflate the tires to clear them and then inflate them once the wheels are on the bike.
The rear fit great. I didn’t have any rubbing at all. My limiter was the fork. The knobs on the tire rubbed a little bit. I used to have to mount the front wheel, open the quick release (but not unscrew it), pick up the front end of the bike, and then the quick release would be caught on the lawyer lips of the fork. While I have the front end elevated, I would close the quick release very tight. It would get me an extra millimeter or so, which was all I needed.
But like I said, it is very bike-specific. Other guys I know, even with the same size frame (56) couldn’t fit the same exact tires on their bike.
Sounds like you got the golden ticket, I’ll see what I turn up with.
