Anyone have experience with this gadget? Is it worth the coin? If not, what’s your recommendation?
The Mavic Wintech is the real deal…after years of problems with wireless computers, this one is my winner. It is simple, attractive, and ALWAYS works. I never have to worry about the alignment of the relative positions of transmitter and reciever, or magnet to sensor positions, as it seems powerful enough to compensate for all these. It is easy to move to another bike, just change the wheel or the skewer and puchase another bar mount. A very satisfactory piece of tech.
Do you use the cadence sensor?
I have 2 of the WinTechs. Use one on Hed TriSpokes- tri bike. Other on Campy Eurus wheels-roadie bike.
No experience with cadence sensor.

So, is the sensor in place of your stock skewer and qucik release?
I’ve got it with cadence. I’ve never once had a problem with it
i have the cadence version. love it. never going back. great pickup even in the hellzone that is known as central park.
I got one for Christmas and have it installed on the bike I’ve been riding on my rollers. Basically, I like it. Pretty simple setup and nice to be free of the wires.
Here’s my only critique - and if I need to do something differently to make it do what I want, then please let me know. You can’t view certain combinations of data at the same time; for instance, current speed and distance. Or speed and time elapsed. Is there a way to solve this?
