OK, so this isn’t the latest and greatest gear, but they are my babies. Got the P2K in 2003, and the R2.5 last year. I just swapped the seat forward on the P2K this year, and also am trying to get a bit lower. As originally fit I had a boatload of spacers on the stem, but this position seems pretty comfortable, although I did have the unnerving sensation of sliding forward on my saddle the whole time when I rode it last weekend. Will probably modify this slightly by tipping the seat just a hair nose-up. The R2.5 is actually the 2005 Chorus model, but Tri-Zilla asked if I minded the red frame instead of the blue frame, and I didn’t, so they built it up with the red frame.
Is that r2.5 a 54cm frame? Scarily enough, I have a CSC team frame built around a Chorus groupset as I didn’t like the blue decals! Even scarier I used the same Specialised big mouth bottles on mine! Hence the size question.
It’s a bit out of date but raises a few hackles at times. I love my Kalibur, which disappears beneath me for TTs and Tris but for sheer riding enjoyment it’s my r2.5 I look to.
